The Saab garage is an extension of the showroom located right next door. Behind the workshop doors, dozens of cars still wait, lined up as if the mechanics had just left the workplace.
I expected to find only Saabs there, but other brands are mixed in with the Swedish cars: Renault, Citroën, and even an old 4L, an iconic relic of another era. They all seem frozen in time from the moment the garage closed its doors.
As I get closer, the illusion gradually fades. The bodies are open, the engines have been removed, and anything that might still have had value is long gone. Dust now covers these cars, which will likely never hit the road again.
The rows of vehicles, the forgotten tools, and the light streaming through the workshop roof offer numerous perspectives. So it seemed natural to me to dedicate an entire photo album to this garage, in order to share more photographs of these cars sleeping under the dust.
