Now, it has been years that I could, or should, have done an album about the Petite Ceinture. Indeed, it should have been one of my first main explorations and I have been there a lot of times. To be honnest, the Petite Ceinture is for me a quiet place of peace, relaxation and Nature in the middle of the city. It is less a place to explore than a perfect spot to chill out with friends and beers when the weather is good. That’s why I don’t usually take pictures of the tracks when I go for a walk there. I even didn’t think about making an album on the website before now. However, there are a lot to see there ! The ralway line is 32km long and crosses very different landscaspes. Between tunnels and metal bridges, Haussmanian buildings and parks, there is something for everyone.
I hope that these few pictures will give you a good look of what is, or was, the Petite Ceinture, even that they will give you the will to discover it by yourself.
From few years, some parts of the tracks have been restored and are now open to the public !
