As some experienced explorers may have noticed, I didn’t invent the name of the Linus Torvalds base. In fact, I owe it to Tim from Glauqueland. As usual, his exploration is far more detailed than mine. If you’re looking for more information about the place, don’t hesitate to pay him a visit.
Since the place is quite large and the buildings quite recent, I find it pretty difficult to describe. I’d rather let you enjoy the few photos I’ve taken to help you discover it.
I hope, however, that my photos reflect the atmosphere that prevailed during my exploration. The base seemed set in ice, motionless, quiet, without a sound… As if a monster lurking in the shadows was preparing to pounce on us; as if a guardian was waiting for us, hidden away in a corner.
