It is true that in urbex you always want to discover huge places with special attributes, like the palm tree’s care home for instance. Nevertheless, I really appreciate the atmosphere of smaller places, like the red heart care home.
For a start, because they are small, they are more confidential and it is harder to find photos or information about them in advance. So, when you start the exploration, it is a total surprise.
In fact, they retain a certain aura of mystery. For example, what was that motorcycle doing in the garage?
Last but not least, they usually contain a wealth of items to let your mind wander, imagining life as it was in the building.
