The 1000 hallways asylum is called this way because it is made of several buildings and numerous hallways. It is a part of the complex where the Louise Attaque asylum is located. This medical facilty stretches on several hectares and used to welcome more than 3000 patient at its peak. I let you guess how many kilometers I had to travel by feet to explore the whole place !
This is the reason why it is very difficult to maintain it. All the buildings are in severe decaying state.
However the atmosphere there is very specific, although shared by all these old places those had a heavy history. Even without knowing its past, it is impossible to miss the old vocation of this asylum when exploring it.
