There is almost nothing left on the ivy’s foundry site. In the old days, a huge chimney took center stage in the middle of many buildings. Now, only 2 houses, made of red bricks, are still standing there. They are the gate keepers of the place. As for the rest, it is a big concrete slab…
These houses are the last witnesses of a quite common story. It is the same as many of the historical industrial french sites. Formerly thriving, they are now mainly abandoned or demolished. A History’s part felt down when the huge chimey itself felt down. Hopefully, The 2 houses made of red bricks still watch over their memories.
