To be honest, I discovered this “guinguettes” – open air café – by accident. The building itself doesn’t look so good from outside. It is not very impressive. I definitely wasn’t expecting anything from its exploration.
I thought I would spend 5 minutes in there, in the worst case, and I could go elsewhere then. You always need backups.
The first part of my visit confirmed my feelings : everything was empty, dilapidated, soulless. But when entering a room, I saw it. It was there, immobile, tall, majestic. I am talking about the main stairway, of course ! On its own, its worth the visit, no matter what’s left.
I picked few pictures to show them : I could have displayed much more !
