In the middle of summer, lost in holidays somewhere in France, we thought that would be a great idea to explore the area and the famous château Sequoia. That was the occasion to discover the region and visit at random.
The castle is totally isolated, between rivers, lakes, fields and woods. We looked for the castle for one hour at least, going around it, before we finally found it. Our GPS couldn’t find the position and we didn’t bring any map. To tell you the truth, we were so fucking lost that we met deers wondering what we were doing in their properties.
The castle finally unveiled itself, majestic, surrounded by big trees that seemed to frame it. This is the perfect spot, I definitely understand why it has been built there. I could have spent my whole vacations there.
