River Manor

Hidden in the woods, River Manor can be felt more than seen. Vegetation has nearly consumed it entirely. Ivy covers the walls, trees hide the facades, and brambles conceal the last visible stones.
Inside, time has taken its toll. The floors have collapsed, leaving only the building’s structure standing. The walls remain, rising toward the sky as if to remind us of the place’s former grandeur. The trees’ leaves have replaced the roof. Brightly colored graffitis cover the last visible sections of wall, adding to the shades of green and gray.
Exploring the site gives the strange impression of entering a forgotten city swallowed up by the jungle. The silence is almost total. Nothing moves; only the lapping of water from a nearby river reminds us that the place is still alive. Here, we sense the power of nature and its ability to quietly and patiently reclaim what is rightfully its own.
