Like many factories, the Colbert glass factory is located not far from a waterway, enabling it to transport materials and easily distribute its finished products, mainly glass bottles.
However, it is difficult to talk about the previous life of this place. When we visited it, it was already completely empty.
All that remained were the concrete and brick walls and the sheet steel and metal structure. Trees, bushes and other weeds were beginning to reclaim the site, already smothering some of the buildings under an immense blanket of greenery.
Nevertheless, we will never forget its special atmosphere, somewhere between apocalypse and the rebirth of Nature.
